Surya Saggita Choir

     UKM MUSIK "SURYA" was established on 01st August 1999 coordinated by R. Retnowati which  members (boys and girls) are 30 peoples . The Choir "SURYA" first show on 24th September 1999 which coincided  with Milad Muhammadiyah University of Purworejo. In addition, UKM  MUSIK "SURYA"  has performed at reception of the state on 17 August in Purworejo Regency collaboration with all purworejo artists, Musda Muhammadiyah,Musda PAN ,Musda Aisyiyah , meeting Orphanage of Muhamadiyah , and etc . UKM MUSIK "SURYA" has a regular part of each year, which is twice a graduation ceremony in April and October, Milad Muhammadiyah University Of Purworejo and participate the event on OSPEK activity of new student Muhammadiyah University of Purworejo and until now the active members of choir "SURYA" as many as 50 people. On 12th October 2012 UKM MUSIK"SURYA" changed its name to PSM "Surya Sagitta".

The benefits of joining the PSM "Surya Sagitta" is to provide a forum to excite the spirit, ideas and creations to continue to develop the potential and ability in the field of choir.

All day lectures , singing can be a moodbooster and a new encouragement for our choir members. Especially if the song being studied is a song that is currently IN, our local area song, or a classic song that is nice to hear choir members. The making of some rules with punishment made our choir members learn to be disciplined. From the discipline to come on time, memorize the song according to the agreed time, until the absence of training all have punishment. The punishment also varies, ranging from fine, run, to warning letter.

     Requirement of membership of student organization PSM "Surya Sagitta" that is first take form to fill full identity, then audition, announcement, if accepted to become candidate member. Then for prospective members to become members must do a mini concert.

In order to become a member who enters into the organization's division must follow the reorganization and trial of the AD / RT.

     In the student organization PSM "Surya Sagitta" , i have many experience   such us when i in the organization , i must be adaptasion in there with many character of peoples . I should be able to appear confident at the time fill the ospek and graduation.
